Nonostante a Gaza la situazione sia difficilissima per le piogge, il fango, il freddo, la mancanza di cibo e di materiali da costruzione, la scuola Il futuro nelle mani dei piccoli ha aperto proprio in questi giorni. Il responsabile Yousef ci ha inviato alcune foto e un sentito ringraziamento: “I am pleased to inform you that the educational project has officially begun, and the atmosphere is filled with excitement and energy despite the cold weather. We have witnessed clear joy on the faces of the students as they engage with the educational materials and share ideas with one another. There has also been a remarkable turnout from families, all expressing their gratitude and appreciation for the support we have received. The words of thanks and appreciation from the parents reflect the importance of this project in the lives of their children. We hope that your generous support will continue, as your efforts serve as a crucial engine for the success of this project and the attainment of its noble goals. We are confident that together, we will achieve remarkable accomplishments that contribute to building a better future for our children. Thank you once again, and we ask God for success for everyone“.
Il 21 dicembre dalle 17, presso la Barricata, in via Giulia di Barolo 48, ci sarà un aperitivo di finanziamento per le scuole di Gaza con un banchetto di piccoli oggetti, tra cui la riproduzione di un manifestino (30×40) del GUPW, General Union of Palestinian Women, datato 1980. Sarà un momento conviviale di saluti e auguri. Tutte/i sono invitate/i a partecipare e diffondere la locandina.
